Paecilomyces lilacinus is a beneficial entomopathogenic fungus that naturally controls root-knot and cyst nematodes in the soil. It parasitizes nematode eggs, larvae, and females, effectively breaking their life cycle and reducing population in the root zone.
This eco-friendly bio-nematicide colonizes the rhizosphere and provides long-term suppression of harmful nematodes like Meloidogyne, Heterodera, and Rotylenchulus. Regular use ensures healthier roots, improved nutrient absorption, and better crop yield without the risk of chemical residues.

Paecilomyces lilacinus infects nematode eggs and larvae by penetrating their outer layers using enzymes like chitinase and protease. The fungus consumes the nematode’s body content, leading to its death and preventing reproduction. Over time, it builds up in the soil, providing long-term nematode suppression.
